Jacqueline's Story

Jacqueline left Singapore 19 years ago to pursue her MBA in the States thinking that it will be a mere 2-year stint. The adventurous side of her led her to 19 years of life abroad in one of the most exciting cities in the world. Missing her friends and family, she finally decided to return back to her homeland in March this year after securing a position as Head of Business Development in a local hedge fund company. As she looked to stay active physically, mentally and socially, she joined Relay Majulah as its Organizing Committee member; started racing with the Singapore Master Track and Field Association; signed up for her first marathon; and participated in occasional Spartan - Game of Zones. She just found out at the end of September that she is one of the lucky few selected to run in the Tokyo 2020 marathon.

As she worked along with the other committee members and runners in Relay Majulah, she felt inspired and compelled to be part of this major event - to help and contribute more in this ground-up initiative by running and raising funds to help the 67 supported charities under President's Challenge. Your donation will receive a 250% tax exemption + up to 20% matching by govt. 100% of your donations will go towards 67 charities.
